North Charleston, SC – A North Charleston woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that took place in September during an eviction dispute.

Elizabeth Abdon, 32, was taken into custody by the North Charleston Police Department and faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

The charges stem from an incident on September 17 in which officers responded to a North Charleston residence and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim told police that Abdon, his roommate, had shot him during an argument as he was attempting to evict her from the home they shared.

An incident report states the victim identified Abdon as the shooter.

Jail records show Abdon is currently being held following her arrest in the ongoing investigation into the September shooting. The police department has not released any additional details about the circumstances surrounding the eviction dispute and shooting.
