Former NFL defensive end Robert Quinn was arrested in North Charleston, South Carolina last week after he allegedly attempt to flee the scene of a multi-car accident. Quinn, who has played for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles, was charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Quinn’s booking photo shows facial injuries, and he reportedly also had injuries to his hands.

According to People, police said Quinn was found in the passenger seat of another vehicle, and the driver said that Quinn had called him for  ride. Police reportedly said Quinn was not cooperative. The police report suggests that Quinn’s vehicle started the chain accident, striking one vehicle that was pushed into a second that then struck a third.

This isn’t the first time Quinn has been in the news for a motor vehicle accident. In August of 2023, WCSC reported that Quinn was arrested after leaving the scene of another multi-vehicle accident in Summerville. Several cars were reportedly damaged in that crash, and Quinn was charged with hit and run and third degree assault and battery. That case has not yet been resolved, and is scheduled for a pre-trial conference in the Summerville Municipal Court on February 7.

Dorchester County Court records show that a personal injury/property damage case has also been filed against Quinn in connection with that incident.
